We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our team in Exeter. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our planning function and driving the delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- **Lead Planning Function:** Develop and implement effective planning strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- **Project Management:** Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- **Team Leadership:** Lead and motivate a team of planners and project managers to achieve project goals.
- **Communication:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
- **Process Improvement:** Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- **Training and Development:** Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- **Experience:** Proven experience in project management and planning, preferably in a civil engineering or construction industry.
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, construction management, or project management.
- **Skills:** Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Proficient in project management software, such as Primavera P6.
- **Certifications:** PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications.
