Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently seeking a Water Technician to join our client's dynamic team. Our client specialises in surveying and rehabilitating underground pipes throughout the UK and are growing rapidly due to several large contract wins.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing reports and validations, as well as managing specific contracts and projects where necessary. They will also provide technical advice to clients on recommendations for repair or rehabilitation.

Main Responsibilities:

- Project Mapping

- Client reports (including surveys, pipe fault coding and recommendations

- Assist Project Manager on contracts and projects

Please note that full training will be provided.

Requirements/Criteria: (Desirable not essential)

  • Experience of working in the construction/utilities industry
  • Working knowledge of the pipe systems in foul, storm, clean water categories
  • Working knowledge of GIS systems, radar, radio, sonar detection systems
  • Working Knowledge of rehabilitation systems with respect to pipes and/or manholes
  • Working knowledge of jetting/cleaning pipes
  • Working knowledge of CCTV systems of pipe surveying
  • Working knowledge of tenders, estimates
  • Working knowledge of validation reports
