About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Asset Technician to join our team at Anglian Water Services. As a key member of our industrial electricians team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our water treatment works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets, including wiring, installing, and controlling electrical equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain technical analytical equipment to adhere to water quality standards.
  • Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions to prevent downtime.
  • Manage and assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation, and automation teams.
  • Liaise with other team members to react to technical issues and maintain water supply.

Requirements

  • Completed apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualification.
  • Ability to learn quickly and use initiative to solve problems.
  • Training alongside an experienced technician to gain skills and knowledge.

Stand-by and Overtime

You will be required to take part in a standby rota, with a flexible approach to working hours. Stand-by would typically be worked at least one day per week, with additional stand-by payments for being available. In the event of a call-out, you will receive overtime payments per hour for work conducted.
