Yolk Recruitment is thrilled to support the recruitment of a dedicated and detail-oriented Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) Administrator. If you have a passion for maintaining high standards in health, safety, and environmental practices, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment

As the EHS Administrator, you will play a vital role in assisting the EHS Manager and the broader management team in the development, implementation, and upkeep of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the site. Your support will be key to ensuring that the business remains compliant and continues to improve its EHS performance. This is a fixed term role for 12 - 18 months with a high chance of the role turning permanent.

This is what you'll be doing:

  • Provide crucial support to department managers on all aspects of EHS management, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards.
  • Assist in cultivating a proactive EHS culture by engaging with employees, promoting awareness, and encouraging best practices.
  • Help in investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist in evaluating risks associated with machinery and activities, offering suggestions for modifications to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Support the planning, preparation, and execution of internal and external EHS inspections and audits to maintain high standards.
  • Monitor and analyse EHS data, assist in setting and tracking KPIs, and prepare reports as needed by the management team.
  • Aid in the delivery and organisation of staff training on EHS procedures to ensure compliance and awareness across the workforce.
  • Liaise with contractors as necessary to ensure they adhere to the site's EHS requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of waste management and minimisation processes to support environmental goals.
  • Provide additional administrative assistance across various departments on EHS-related matters as requested by your manager.

  • NEBOSH General Certificate would be advantageous.
