Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Support the Director to ensure category business success with the execution of a robust category plan, defined by the GTM Director, within the strategic framework set by the European BU.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be ambassador of respective BU internally and externally
  • Key contact to local sales teams and category champions on range specific topics & concepts
  • Assist and input into European BU on local ranging and forecasting topics such as data, mark-up, pricing maintenance, segmentation, etc.
  • Manage sample order process in alignment with Europe
  • Consult and brief on consistent Showroom concept across location to ensure strategy and guidelines are followed
  • Create and deliver localized SMM presentations to Sales
  • Tailor and review local sell-in tools to ensure an impactful sell in
  • Support and act as BU ambassador and local expert of the decisions within cluster business plan process in alignment with Europe
  • Together with Sports Marketing (if applicable to role) create and present specific promo ranges and product
  • Support local allocation split process if not defined by Europe by channel, account and doors
  • Input into EU BU on local topics, such as pricing, forecasting, mark-up, article maintenance, segmentation, HLD, etc.
  • Key contact to Brand activation teams on GTM process
  • Explore and drive business opportunities together with the local sales teams
  • Own the end to end account SMU/ISC process – from briefing to order entry (when applicable)
  • Ensure local input for country market analytics and development areas
  • Present/Support Sales Launch events locally or in alignment with European BU
  • To support Key City & DTC team with their commercial and activation planning
  • Maintains regular analytics on the sell-in and sell-through performance of respective category

Requisite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • First cross functional marketing knowledge and market experience in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories.
  • Consumer-focused with deep product and range understanding
  • Pro- active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international cultures
  • Good communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Passionate about sports
  • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5+ years of Merchandising Experience, cross-functional marketing and/or sales experience
  • Fluent in English (writing and verbal)
  • IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
