Job Title: Customer Service Assistant

Location: Poulton

Remuneration: 23,280 per annum

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time (36.25 hours per week)

Monday to Friday 8:45 to 5pm

Saturday 8:45pm to 12:30pm - If you work a Saturday you get a day off during the week, on a rota 2 Saturdays a month

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your team to support the Branch Manager in achieving branch goals and sales targets.
  • Generate leads for new business and promote high standards of customer service.
  • Cultivate a culture of high performance and community involvement.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of society controls, regulatory requirements, and codes of practise within the branch.
  • Provide efficient cashiering service to customers and promote the organisation's products and services.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills by effectively communicating with members.
  • Display exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Support other branches as required by the organisation.
  • Act with confidence, making sound judgements based on your proven skills and experience.
  • Take initiative in your role, using your skills and experience to act independently when necessary.

Our client, a retail banking organisation, is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and reliable individual to join their team as a Customer Service Assistant. With a commitment to exceptional customer service and excellent interpersonal skills, you will play a crucial role in promoting the organisation's products and services.

To succeed in this role, you should have a good standard of education and a desire for a position that offers a challenge and the opportunity to use your initiative. While prior customer service experience is preferred, training will be provided to the successful candidate.

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work closely with your team to support the Branch Manager in delivering branch goals and sales targets. This will involve generating leads for new business, promoting high standards of customer service, and creating a culture of high performance within the branch. You will also be expected to maintain a thorough understanding of society controls, regulatory requirements, and codes of practise within the branch.

This role is based at our client's Poulton branch, but you may be required to support other branches when necessary. It is important that you are confident in making sound judgements based on your skills and experience and can act on your own initiative.
