About The Role

The Swansea University Employability Academy (SEA) are recruiting for a Project Co-ordinator to assist colleagues on the successful delivery of the TESS (Targeted Employability Student Support) project at Swansea University.

The TESS (Targeted Employability Student Support) project is funded in line with Welsh Government policy to support the goals set out in the Well-being of Future Generations Act 2015. The aim of the project is to contribute to these goals by supporting under-represented / disadvantaged students to develop career confidence, employability skills and to engage with employers. The Project Co-ordinator will assist colleagues on the successful delivery of the TESS project at Swansea University, working to the Delivery Plan agreed with Medr (Commission for Tertiary Education and Research) alongside two Targeted Employability Placements and Guidance advisers.

You would report to the Senior Targeted Employability Placements and Guidance adviser, also working closely with other service team leaders and the head of SEA. We seek an enthusiastic, qualified individual to work with colleagues within SEA, REIS, Faculties and the Project Managing Agents, Medr, and other Welsh GO Wales teams to support students with barriers to recruitment to gain successful Graduate Outcomes.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
