A well established and award-winning Accountancy Firm based in the heart of Edinburgh. The Firm has taken great strides in recent years to innovate and evolve, to ensure that they are ahead of the curve of technological change. The Firm has grown considerably in recent year with the addition of new offices and departments, as they continue to increase their already impressive market share.
The Role
The position of Audit Manager is newly created which reflects the growth the team is currently undergoing. The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and manage the audits of a variety of clients across Edinburgh and Central Scotland. To be considered for the role you will be a fully qualified accountant and have extensive experience of managing audits.

The role will fashion the following duties:
Co-ordinating and managing the full audit process from risk assessment through to the signing of the final accountsLiaising with other internal departments to ensure a clear and co-ordinated client serviceManaging client relationshipsCoaching and developing junior members of the team - providing constructive feedback to aid their progressionManaging a large portfolio of diverse clientsSupporting senior members of staff in generating new business
To be considered for this role you have the following skills/experience:
Qualified AccountantManagerial audit exposure within an Accountancy Firm/PracticeDelegating and allocating work to other members of the audit teamFantastic written and verbal communication skillsAccountable and willing to take ownership of complex tasksAn ability to manage and prioritise your workload
