Pay & Conditions:

Term time (38 weeks) plus 2 daysActual starting salary: £22200.00 per annum (Annual full-time equivalent salary would be £26033.00 per annumHours: 37 Hours per week: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm. We are looking for staff who have the appropriate personal characteristics, experience, knowledge and skills relating to the pastoral welfare of students at Trevelyan Middle School. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable. The position would suit someone who has the ability to work well under pressure whilst prioritising and working productively can work as part of a team as well as independently. The successful candidate will also:

 

Provide support to the Pastoral Manager, Key Stage leaders and other key staff in the promotion of pupil welfare and wellbeing;Work effectively to ensure high levels of pastoral careMaintain accurate manual and electronic records relating to studentsLiaise with students, parents, colleagues and other professionals in relation to any student mattersWork effectively with pupils, teachers, parents and relevant external agencies to ensure high quality pastoral care in accordance with the principles expressed in ECM.


The most recent OFSTED inspection (2019) graded the school as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ behaviour & attitudes and personal development.
