This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team that will be responsible for all of the commercial output and successes of the STEP portfolio. Your revenue lines will be across the following areas:

Digital advertising on the STEP Journal (digital) Sponsorship and exhibition stand sales at events in the UK and around the world Content led marketing for the purpose of lead generation e.g. webinars, expert papers, surveys etc. Awards sponsorship Bespoke solutions (that adhere to STEP’s clear guidelines)

At such an exciting time for STEP we are currently seeking an Account Manager to manage established accounts and focus on new business growth. You might currently be working as an account manager or looking for your next step from senior sales executive. Reporting into the International Account Director you will work to maximise the commercial potential across the STEP portfolio.

The successful candidate will be expected to show the best possible attitude, output and desire to champion our client’s brand in the market.  You will be responsible for delivering results across a portfolio that includes display, content solutions, awards, conferences and bespoke solutions.  

We also have the opportunity to launch exciting products into the marketplace.  This really is a chance for an Account Manager to make an impact on these excellent brands in a high-profile role and be recognised across the business.

Responsibilities:

Maximise revenue for the full STEP portfolio from your assigned client base and new business areas. Includes having the ability to develop your client base strategically in order to drive growth across the portfolio Confident in arranging and conducting high-level face to face meetings with key clients with good presentation skills and a consultative approach Have the ability to think on your feet and put together integrated, cross-portfolio campaigns for clients and also to deliver creative solutions where necessary (that adhere to STEP’s clear guidelines) Professionally represent Haymarket as well as the STEP both internally and externally You will demonstrate strong sales ability as well being able to drive and motivate the team around you. You need to have a good understanding of digital products and demonstrate real ability for driving digital revenue streams and content solutions. You will be eager to be involved with all elements of live events to ensure that we have successfully delivered on revenues and execution You must be able to work well under pressure and maximise relationships with colleagues in Wonderly, HBM and STEP

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria

Proven sales track record Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts A consultative approach to client management and revenue generation with a view to maximising investment across the STEP portfolio Be consistently professional and well-presented Be self-motivated whilst being a team player and a respected member of the team Ambitious and very target driven Good communicator, face to face and in writing Strong attention to detail Accountable and responsible Ability to problem solve and seek to improve Ability to pitch face to face at a high-level Experience of sponsorship sales
