The University of Sheffield is recruiting its next Dean of the School of Clinical Dentistry to lead one of the top Dental Schools in the UK which enjoys a national and international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research. We excel in both teaching and research, and take pride in the students we train and the impact of our research in society. In the recent Research Excellence Framework 2021 (REF) exercise, 96% of our research was graded as “world leading” or “internationally excellent” and we were ranked 3rd out of 91 submissions for Research Power.

Reporting to the Vice-President and Head of the Faculty of Health, you will be a member of the Faculty Executive Board, contributing to the leadership and management of the Faculty and holding functional responsibility for specific agreed cross-cutting activities.
