Trusts and Foundations Manager
The University of Liverpool’s fundraising team, DART (Development and Alumni Relations Team) is growing, and we’d be delighted for you to join us. Don’t worry if you’ve never been a trust fundraiser before; we’re interested to hear from curious minds who enjoy writing, research, and want to work with some of the University of Liverpool’s brilliant academics to make a real difference to some big challenges.
Reporting to the Head of Trusts and Foundations, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the development of a trusts and foundations strategy to secure high 5-figure, 6-figure, and 7-figure+ gifts. You will identify and research potential funders and be supported in the preparation and submission of applications to a wide range of regional, national, and international funders capable of – and passionate about – supporting the University’s work. Fundable projects across the University are many and various, but you will be working on a varied portfolio comprising (but not limited to): children’s health; cancer research; climate science; humanitarian scholarships (for people with refugee status); anti-microbial resistance; public policy; materials science, and infectious diseases to name a few.
Non-salary benefits include:
- 30 days holiday, plus 6 university closure days and bank holidays
- Attractive pension scheme
- Hybrid working model
- Staff discount and benefit schemes
- Training and development
This post is full time, however, job-share or flexible working arrangements will be considered.
You should have a degree (or equivalent qualifications) or proven track record of relevant extensive work experience in a role with transferable skills and experience.
