An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workforce Development Administrator to join the UEA+Sport Department of the Sportspark

You will provide administrative support to placement students and host organisations to ensure high-quality and effective placement opportunities, aiding the development of students and increasing their employability.

You’ll also support the workforce development aims of the uea+sport department, including recruitment and ongoing support of student volunteers.

You must have A-levels (or equivalent qualifications or directly relevant experience), together with experience of providing administrative support in a busy office setting requiring multiple priorities; partnership working and liaison with internal and external agencies.

Good communication, organisation, interpersonal, and IT skills are all essential criteria for the post, and an interest in working in a sport setting or in sport related activities would be advantageous.

This part-time (0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week) post is available from 2 September 2024 on a fixed-term basis for 2 years.  

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours share, term-time only and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.

The University holds an Athena Swan Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality.

From £24,128 per annum (pro rata) on appointment, with an annual increment up to £24,693 per annum (pro rata).
