Conwy County Borough Council carries out waste and Recycling collections to households and businesses in Conwy and operates a Recycling Bulking Station and Waste Transfer Station to receive the material where it is bulked and sent for reprocessing. Our focus is on collecting clean, segregated, high-value materials that can be used to make new products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and physically fit people to work at our Recycling Depots to receive sort and bulk material from the collections ready for onward reprocessing.

Applicants must have basic literacy skills, experience of manual work and have knowledge and understanding of site health and safety procedures. Applicants will be expected to know the basics of the Councils Recycling policy, but interest and enthusiasm are more important.

Applicants must be able to work well as part of a team and be flexible.

There will be requirement to work Bank Holidays including working the three Saturdays around the Christmas period.

Welsh Language Skills: The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. We are committed to our Welsh language and are proud of our Welsh culture.
