Recruit UK are working on behalf of a well-regarded Independent Financial Planning firm in Cardiff, to find a talented Financial Planning Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of Independent Financial Advisers and a paraplanner, where you will play a key role in ensuring seamless administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Handling all incoming phone calls.
  • Coordinating with providers and internal teams to obtain necessary information.
  • Preparing valuations and assembling client packs for meetings.
  • Addressing client and provider enquiries via phone and written correspondence.
  • Keeping client records meticulously updated and organised within the back-office system.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is properly filed.
  • Adhering to compliance standards.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £26,000 (negotiable on experience)
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Free parking
  • Death in service

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience within a wealth management/investment firm, or banking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, in-house IFA systems, and provider websites.
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Able to prioritise and manage your workload effectively.
  • Ability to work as a team member and also independently
  • Professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and high accuracy in all tasks.
  • Flexible and capable of managing your own time efficiently.
