About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Officer to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial information is accurate, comprehensive, and timely.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Finance Manager and Director to ensure financial information is robust and reflects the ongoing financial risks and opportunities.
- Undertake a broad range of financial tasks, including processing financial data through the Oracle ledger system and Sage 200.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of financial administration duties within Weqas.
Requirements
- Experience and/or knowledge of financial procedures/techniques equivalent to AAT Technician Level (or working towards it).
- Experience within an NHS environment, or similar, with some experience in a financial role.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
