Due to ongoing regional expansion, LSC is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join the administration team at our new Manchester campus.

The ideal applicant will be able to work well under pressure and must be attentive to the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities to include: 

  • Providing general administrative support
  • Monitoring attendance and progress of students enrolled
  • Manage the student life cycle from registration to graduation
  • Dealing with queries and complaints procedures
  • Coordinate examination and assessment processes
  • Maintenance of student records
  • Effective use of technology and information systems to prepare reports for both internal and external use
  • Ensuring effective communication to all students, including via regular classroom visits 

Qualifications and person specification 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification 
  • Excellent organisational skills 
  • Ability to follow procedures and work to tight deadlines 
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Excellent IT skills in areas such as spreadsheets and databases 
  • A flexible approach to work 
  • Experience in a higher education setting would be desirable
