As the Head of Strategic Partners - EMEA you will lead a team to connect the On brand to our EMEA consumers and their communities, in partnership with some of the largest global sports retailers. This is an opportunity to set the sales direction and strategy for our Lifestyle and Performance category verticals within the EMEA region. You will collaborate cross-functionally, connect and influence globally with team members at all levels across the Oniverse. You'll lead and continue to grow a high performance team through a strategic, dynamic, consumer and team centric leadership approach.

You will report directly to the Senior Director of Sales EMEA and be an extension of the EMEA leadership team.

Location: preferred locations for this role are our London or Zurich HQ. Alternatively, the position holder can be based in Berlin.

Your Mission

  • Deliver exceptional leadership to the team by creating a high performance culture where your team can thrive in a supportive work environment.
  • Build and deliver Global Key Account Strategy through a consumer and a multi-channel approach
  • Proactively lead a co-created strategic account planning with the Key Accounts that develops a mutual understanding of the consumer and delivers performance objectives, unit / financial targets and strategic initiatives across a 3Y period.
  • Plan, prepare and execute seasonal GTM excellence
  • Ensure your team is coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development, while identifying and developing future talents / leaders
  • Working cross functionally, coordinating the involvement of On teammates: Account Services, Operations, Marketing,Product and management resources (not exhaustive), in order to meet the On performance objectives and the needs of the consumer
  • Deliver a Key Account digital road maps and build a Digital Joint Business Plan, that drives sales across all country URL's and is incorporated into the 3YP
  • Lead team to analyse and monitor consumer demand, category trends, competitor assortment and identify gaps in current assortment, content & availability, price, out-of-stock rate etc
  • Work with US / Asia peers to develop and execute a global governance model to support Brand consistency across all regions
  • Connect the On brand to the communities we're serving and translate the needs of these communities back into the business
  • Develop and lead the long term Performance Running and Lifestyle strategy for EMEA that can be translated and executed at market level
  • Work with global sales & EMEA merchandising team on tiering and distribution strategy for all categories
  • Set strategy for strategic partnerships, SMUs and collaborations with key running and lifestyle retailers. Steer distribution and monitor delivery of SMUs and collab products
  • Partner with regional management team, EMEA merchandising team and global Performance Run and Lifestyle category team to act on consumer and market needs Your story

    • Relevant work experience in senior roles within Sales, Commercial, Buying & Merchandising, Marketing, Digital-Ecommerce Omni Channel or similar
    • Excellent leadership skills: +5 years in a leadership position with the ability to empower your team to be the best version of themselves while developing new leaders
    • An expert in building co-created partnerships through a strategic channel and commercial approach
    • Experience in defining brands through experiences, stories and product through multiple channels and consumer touch points
    • Channel, consumer, brand understanding across OMNI channels: digital, e-commerce, B&M
    • Strong business acumen, strategic, numerical, analytical and critical problem solving mindset
    • Open and self aware - seeks to understand before being understood
