We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our team at Gatwick IRC. Gatwick IRC, based in the heart of Gatwick, providing care to around 440 patients. Within this role you will be working closely with the multidiaplinary to provide high quality care for patients. Within this role you will work closely the entire multiple disciplinary team , you will gain insight into Mental Health and Substance Misuse, as well as access to a variety of training opportunities with the opportunity to work towards your RCGP level 2 and other qualifications should you wish.

Hours

Saturdays and Sundays, 9am -1pm

Salary

This position is full time role working 40 hours per week, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £130,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Plus payment of MDU/MPS subscription and CPD days. If you are looking for portfolio work or cross site working, we can offer this on a temporary or permanent basis with the opportunities of extra shifts and overtime also.

Golden Hello - £3,000 (£1,000 per year for 3 years - conditions apply with milestones being agreed for individual roles).

What you'll be doing:

Our General Practitioners are extremely valued and are well respected members of the immigration Healthcare community, as a General Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldn’t usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment. Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patient’s requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.

Qualifications required

MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice Evidence of continuing professional development Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
