Anderson Knight Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our clients dynamic Human Resources team.

Job Description:

As an HR Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR team with a variety of administrative tasks as well as supporting the HR Manager with some advisory tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the full employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, and providing general support to our HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in Human Resources as there will be an opportunity to gain more experience in an advisory capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.

* Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

* Support the HR Manager with casework

* Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing induction materials and conducting initial paperwork.

* Assist in organising and coordinating HR events and training sessions.

* Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

* Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts and termination letters.

* Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.

* Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.

* Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

* Support other HR-related projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources would be desireable

* Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is a plus.

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* Basic knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices is desirable
