Senior Capital Accountant:The Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Capital Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing their capital expenditure and maintaining the asset register. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and on-campus, providing a perfect balance of autonomy and collaboration within a supportive and vibrant academic setting.

Senior Capital Accountant:You
Capital Expenditure Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of capital expenditure, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic goals and budgetary constraintsAsset Register Maintenance: Maintain and update the university's asset registers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations and standardsFinancial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports related to capital projects and asset management, providing insights and recommendations to senior managementBudgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for capital projects, contributing to the university's long-term financial planningCompliance and Audit: Ensure all capital expenditure and asset management activities comply with internal policies and external audit requirements
