Risk & Compliance Executive - Bournemouth

Excellent opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Executive to join a highly-regarded law firm.

Our client is a highly reputable Legal 500 rated law firm based in the South West. They are currently looking for a Risk & Compliance Executive to join their Bournemouth office.

The role will involve working closely with their fee-earners , to ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and professional rules. Duties will be varied and include:

Keeping up to date with emerging risk issues and regulatory changes and using this knowledge to continually improve risk and compliance across all areas of the business.Providing accurate and timely legal, regulatory, risk and compliance advice and guidance to all in the firm.Delivering risk and compliance training to the firm, as and when required, and implementing the firm's annual compliance training programme.Reviewing and implementing any required changes to the firm's existing compliance policies, plans, controls and procedures.Drafting and implementing new policies, controls and procedures as required, to maintain the firm's compliance with all regulatory requirements and current legislation.Managing the implementation and integration of any new regulatory processes and procedures.Managing the firm's internal file review process, analysing the file review data collected and reporting on the findings.Recording, investigating, and responding to complaints, incidents and breaches; conducting analysis of the data and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.Maintaining the firm's compliance registers (e.g. risk register, bribery register, breach register, conflicts register), etc.


To be considered, you must have prior experience of working in a risk and compliance role within a professional services firm.
