At USS, we are looking for a motivated individual to join the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management (EORM) team who will be responsible for leading the review and enhancement of the USS risk and controls framework.

You will be responsible for drafting initial standards, drawing from the best industry practice as well as coordination reviews with the EORM team and key stakeholders.

This role would suit someone with significant knowledge and experience of risk management frameworks who is looking to develop their career within the financial services industry.

Key

Responsibilities:

review and enhance the current control framework standards and streamline the current risk framework documentation. Develop a new 2nd line control assurance methodology in collaboration with the EORM, Information Security and Compliance teams. Develop a firm wide control attestation process in collaboration with the 1st line business control teams.training materials for control standards as well as providing training to the business to enable the embedding of the new control framework.support the risk managers with the review of the business control librariesnew standards and policies to the risk committee for approval

To be successful in this role you will have:

experience and knowledge of risk management framework best practice, methodologies, and emerging practiceexperience of working in a risk function, business control function or audit functioncommunication skills as well as strong stakeholder management skillsMicrosoft Office skills
