*** 2-Form Entry primary school in Hall Green
*** 1:1 and small group support to a Year 3 class

We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role will primarily involve providing 1:1 and small group support to a Year 3 class of 24 children, assisting in their learning and development.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students within the Year 3 class.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources, ensuring they are engaging and appropriate for each student's needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting a love for learning and building confidence in all students.
  • Collaborate closely with the Class Teacher to monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and updates.
  • Establish strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a harmonious learning community.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with both students and staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • A proactive approach to adapting and tailoring support to meet the diverse needs of students.
