Are you a nurturing and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge within a primary school?

This central Birmingham primary school are looking for a teaching assistant to support in a Year 4 class. You will need to have a calm and caring nature, without being phased by challenging behaviour. This is a happy, friendly school with a strong family ethos and strong team commitment to improving the outcomes and aspirations of all children.

Requirements of the role:

- Experience of working with primary children (ideally with SEND pupils)
- The ability to build rapport quickly with both staff and the students you will be working with
- Team player mentality
- An enhanced DBS and reference checks
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Your responsibilities:

- Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
- Providing tailored support during lesson time
- Working with small groups and 1:1
- To provide group and/or individual activities, planned by the teacher
- To monitor and evaluate learners learning under the guidance of the teacher
