Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Within area of operation, the OES Logistics Account & Projects Manager will be:

  • Acting as the Logistics Account Manager for Service Parts supply to the Original Equipment Manufacturers. Ensuring customer delivery service satisfaction.
  • Managing automated EDI ordering system with correction of errors when necessary.
  • Pro-active Monitoring of Orders, Stock, Dispatch / Collection Frequencies and Daily Status.
  • Negotiating of delivery dates with Production Plant, Central Warehouse Planning and Dispatch.
  • Supporting Vehicle Launches, Engineering Changes and Field Campaigns with On-Time delivery.
  • Providing Customer Service with Logistical, Pre-Delivery Advice and Quality related queries.
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators and driving continuous improvement.
  • Mentoring of New Team Members
  • Team Expert in Customs Processes (i.e. EU Export, UK Import for Sales, and Vice-Versa for Returns).
  • Team Expert in Quality topics (i.e. Customer Complaint Management, and Returns Process).
  • Responsible for Niche OE Business channel.
  • Responsible for Receivables / Cash Management.
  • Key-User on SAP & S4HANA Logistical System Developments.

Specific Features

  • Management of Extensive Product Ranges and Various Customers.
  • Technical appreciation of Automotive Products and Services required.
  • Regular visits, networking and development of professional relationships needed.
  • Ability to multi-task, use several systems including SAP essential.

Targets and measures

The job holder's success will be measured by, but not limited to:

  • Stated External Client's Delivery Performance KPI Target.
  • Predefined Internal Delivery Performance KPI Target.
  • Project Contribution for Continuous Improvement.
  • Cost Saving Contribution towards Profitability Target.
  • Development of strategies to achieve Target Package and Improve Business performance.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

The job holder will hold the following knowledge and skills:

  • Degree or equivalent in Business Studies, Business Administration or Logistics required. A degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering also desirable.
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role. Customer Services, Logistics and Operations experience. Experience in the automotive industry would be beneficial. Experience in Building and managing. Professional relationships would be advantageous.
  • Should have knowledge of SAP and EDI Systems.
  • Ability to drive Solutions, Manage Systems, Install and Approve Systematic Process and Drive Continuous Improvement in a Business to Business environment.

  • Ability to and interest in travel domestically and internationally.
