Are you a qualified accountant looking to work in a progressive business with great colleagues? We have a new opportunity available in our Leeds office for a ambitious accountant to join the existing team, ideally you'll have revenue experience and experience of partnering with internal business development teams.

You'll report directly into the Finance Manager - Revenue Assurance and manage the recognition and recording of the UK Consumer revenue. You'll work with a team of 3 Accountants who deliver the numbers for the UK & Irish businesses each month, including reporting and documenting controls, providing variance analysis, contracts reviews and commission plans.

What You'll Do
  • Responsibility of revenue accounting for Equifax UK
  • Ensure system tracked revenue is recognised inline with expectations
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet analysis for Equifax UK contracts
  • Ensure numbers are accurately reflected in the general ledger each month, including any reclassifications that may arise
  • Preparation and presentation of month-end reports, commentaries and variance analysis to the Finance Manager
  • Accounting Partner for Sales Directors, Sales Managers and Account Managers relating to the consumer business
  • Commercial acumen to influence contract structure and negotiations to ensure optimum recognition within SOX requirements
  • Involvement with, and occasional leadership of, multi-functional projects and business initiatives beyond the revenue department
  • Support the FP&A team in forecasting and budgeting
  • Documenting SOX controls, providing evidence to Corporate
  • Co-ordinate with Auditors (Internal & External) on the revenue audit, including group reporting
  • Support Sales Commission Analyst to structure commission process, including payments
  • Collaboration with EFX's various outsource partners and internal teams that support the Bill to customer cycle
  • Support the production of customer invoices and management of authorization workflows

    What experience you'll need
    • Have worked as a management accountant in a corporate environment
    • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
    • Managed revenue accounting and partnered with business development
    • SME in Oracle Financials system for Monthly management accounts, Report writing and maintenance

      • Fluent in Spanish to partner with our global teams
      • Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS differences
      • Detailed knowledge of reporting requirements for UK and Ireland statutory accounts
