Join ALPADIA's team to make summer 2024 an unbelievable experience The role will involve taking overall control of the English language teaching in the camp, ensuring it is of a high standard and EFL teachers are supported to deliver high quality lessons.
Ensure all language tuition is appropriate to a young learner school environment and that Alpadia's syllabus is delivered in line with its stated mission of focusing on communicative content
• Understand and be able to respond to questions about Alpadia's syllabus and course content and support where necessary
• Lead a weekly Professional Development Session for teachers in a spirit of positive engagement
• Complete all lesson observations of teachers, focusing on their continued professional development
• Lead and assist with the training and induction of the Teacher team
• Encourage the sole use of the target language in classrooms wherever possible, both from the students and the other teachers
• Help ensure all procedures/templates related to academic provision, including level changes record, timetables, staff substitution records, are completed promptly
• Ensure Class Files, including lesson materials, testing results, the syllabus, and schemes of work, are kept up to date
• Read, understand, and sign any relevant risk assessments as required
• DELTA, Trinity Dip TESOL, Masters in either TESOL, ELT or Applied Linguistics
Ability to be flexible and adapt where required
A high degree of IT competency - Outlook & MS Office (specifically Excel)
Experience in summer schools or similar structures preferred
Educational management experience in a summer or residential setting
Postgraduate degree or equivalent
Demonstrates respect for equal opportunities and diversity
