Job Role
To operate as the primary interface between residents and the Council during the life of cyclical and major works projects. Initiate, organise and deliver all communications with residents, and respond to all resident enquiries.
Take full responsibility for the handling and provision of information relating to capital schemes to colleagues, elected members and the Council's website.
Key Responsibilities
# Take direct responsibility for the communication strategy for each project assigned.
# Act as the 'go-to' person for advice/information on resident consultation for major works.
# Undertake the design, content, printing, recording, distribution and follow-up of all communication materials.
# Provide responses to all incoming correspondence concerning the assigned projects.
# Act as the Council's lead for all stage 1 complaints concerning major works projects.
# Develop good working relationships with colleagues across the organization.
# Acquire a good understanding of Tenant Management Organizations (TMOs).
# Work closely with Tenant and Resident Associations (TRAs) specific to projects.
# Develop working relationships with contractors' resident liaison officers.
