Veritas Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a local Blackburn with Darwen Primary School for a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA).

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2
Contract: Initially temporary

Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Provide support to students with a range of learning difficulties or disabilities, both in mainstream classes and in special educational provision.
Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to teachers and adapting support strategies as necessary.Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
Relevant qualifications or training in special education, such as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, would be advantageous.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
