Marketing Automation Specialist
Office Location : Hays Triton Street Office, NW1
Fixed Term Contract – 18 Months

This role will benefit from our Hays Balanced Working agreement so will be based in Hays London Triton Street Office and from home. There will be occasional travel to our offices in other locations, as and when required.

At Hays, we believe in being long-term partners with our people as well as our customers. We are seeking a Global Marketing Automation Specialist to co-lead the development and global roll-out of an enhanced lead capture and lead passing process.
This role will be instrumental in the delivery of this global initiative and requires strong technical aptitude combined with marketing know-how to deliver.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a strong technical mindset.

Design and maintain scalable SFMC architecture for multi-channel automation.
Build and optimise Cloud Pages for dynamic content and custom functionality.
Develop and maintain SQL-based data extensions and automation scripts.

Data governance & quality
Manage data hygiene, schema design, and synchronisation processes.
Performance & troubleshooting
~ Diagnose and resolve technical issues in journeys, automations, and integrations.


Document processes, best practices, and provide technical training where needed.
Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio.
Strong knowledge of AMPscript and SQL for data manipulation.
Marketing knowledge
Understanding of lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalisation strategies.
Familiarity with GDPR and data compliance in marketing automation.

Strong data analysis skills for campaign optimisation.
