The Role: As a Sales Support Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team to achieve and exceed their objectives. You will contribute to identifying new markets and customers, developing existing relationships, and supporting sales strategies through detailed market research and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Pursuit Support (55%): Manage the international sales funnel, research potential projects, and assist in setting up meetings and presentations for the sales team.
  • Market Research and Development Support (30%): Collaborate with the Sales Director to target key markets and industries, identify potential accounts, and support market development initiatives.
  • Administrative and Sales Support (15%): Assist in analyzing market trends, preparing reports, and supporting the sales team with scheduling and administrative tasks.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within a technical or construction-related industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Italian, or Spanish) are a plus.

Travel Requirements:

  • Regular travel to company HQ in West Yorkshire.
  • Approximately 10% travel, primarily within Europe.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a valid passport
