Role Overview

As Groups Conference and Events Sales Executive, you will be based within with the Meetings & Events Sales Teams to actively convert customer enquiries and maximise revenue opportunities into confirmed sales for the hotel.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • To actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales to develop future and repeat business
  • To work with other members in the team to develop successful customer

  • To deliver the brand standards of outstanding customer service whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communication is maintained with the on-property hotel teams.
  • To produce written quotations and confirmations for
  • Ensure accurate and up to date customer records are
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions to match
  • Build working relationships with sales, on property
  • To handle all administrative tasks in an efficient and timely
  • Respond positively to sales opportunities to maximise
  • Identify new accounts and contacts to develop sales
  • To attend client events when appropriate and develop relationships
  • To obtain full knowledge of Competitor's products to understand the marketplace for each
  • Assist in additional projects and departmental tasks as
  • To continue to maximise upselling in group or event enquiries
  • To ensure that Delphi and ONQ activities for conversion are kept up to date daily and being efficient with time and focus on conversion.
  • To ensure that Delphi FDC is maintained daily with correct revenues and client
  • requirements at all
  • Controlling accuracy of Revenue with the bookings you are responsible for
  • To always maintain revenue standards in the systems and ensure that the handover process to the planning team is seamless.
