Join our expert team at Close Brothers Asset Finance, where you'll play a key role in growing our footprint within the Construction & Recycling sectors. As Part of our C&R business, you'll be responsible for meeting ambitious sales targets by providing tailored Asset Finance solutions and related services to businesses across the sector.
We're looking for a confident, results-orientated person with a strong Asset Finance sales background and a talent for building effective, lasting relationships with customers. Having a background in specialist C&R Equipment is a huge plus, but above all, we're looking for someone with initiative, commercial and financial acumen, and the motivation to succeed in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
This is a field based role, so you'll work from home, being based somewhere between Oxford and Birmingham, so you can work effectively in that territory of the M40 corridor. The role involves significant amounts of travel, so a valid drivers licence is required.
Maintain accurate and up to date records of customer interactions, ensuring all compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with the Risk function to ensure the consistent alignment of objectives, adhering fully to the principles of the Enterprise Risk Management framework of the Close Brothers Group.
Prepare comprehensive and well-structured credit applications to support informed lending decisions for customers.
Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
Experience in a customer-facing, Asset Finance sales environment, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Strong business and financial acumen
Some knowledge of the Construction & Recycling industries (with a focus on asset/equipment expertise)
Ability to analyse and interpret financial information
