Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a OFSTED rated ‘Out-standing’ Primary School in Derby, the school is looking for a experienced and Qualified Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher who has a strong knowledge of supporting children with Special Educational Needs. An understanding and empathetic nature will be key on making a positive contribution to the children. The confidence and ability to speak to students, parents/carers and staff is essential as well as an awareness of local and national agencies that provide support to young people and their families.

A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
Be able to motivate, support and inspire learners, members of staff and our wider community
