Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Recovery Co-ordinator** to co-ordinate between stakeholders to evaluate the Infrastructure Monitoring (IM) fleet recording requirements and obligations are understood, and that any failures are recovered, deferred or mitigated in agreement with stakeholders. Assist in optimising the deployment of the IM fleet, balancing availability, resource and cost such that compliance to standards is maintained.

**What will you be doing?**

**Proactive Problem Solving**: Identify potential failures in our recording program before they occur and collaborate closely with stakeholders to devise effective recovery or mitigation plans.

**Resource Optimization**: Coordinate recovery planning activities, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources across planning teams for optimal results.

**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Maintain a comprehensive list of key stakeholders across the organization. Keep them informed about actions taken and coordinate ad-hoc recording efforts as necessary.

**Performance Enhancement**: Develop and maintain streamlined processes and reports that provide clear insights into the performance of recovery activities. Your efforts will contribute to structured continuous improvement initiatives.

**Investigative Leadership**: Lead investigations when needed, pinpointing the root causes of recurring recording program failures. Prepare and present insightful reports to drive informed decision-making.

**Resilience Development**: Assist in the creation of new or enhanced train plans that enhance resilience and minimize the risk of recording program failures, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

**Compliance Expertise**: Stay up-to-date with compliance requirements outlined in relevant Network Rail standards, ensuring that our operations consistently meet regulatory expectations.

**Team Player**: Collaborate effectively with wider train planning activities as required, fostering a cohesive and supportive team environment.

**Essential**
- Good communication skills and customer service experience.
- Proven ability to analyse and manipulate large volumes of data
- Demonstrate good levels of accuracy and ability to maintain this in a live operational environment

**Desirable**
- A Levels or equivalent
- Knowledge of railway operations and geography

**Contract Type: 9 month FTC**
