We are looking to recruit Band 4 Phlebotomy Supervisor to expand our team working across at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, Southend University Hospital and other local community clinics throughout South Essex. As a Phlebotomy Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of phlebotomy staff in outpatients, wards and the community (including domiciliary).
You will be expected to work across all sites, shifts are variable between 6.15am and 7pm Monday to Friday with regular weekends on a rotational basis.
A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential, as you will be required to travel to a variety of community clinic locations. 3 GCSE ‘O’ levels or equivalent which must include English
* A minimum of 12 months previous phlebotomy experience
* Phlebotomy qualification
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
* Excellent written and spoken English Language skills
* Previous experience and confidence using IT applications including Microsoft Office and Outlook
* Full UK driving licence and use of car for work
5 GCSE ‘O’ levels (Grades A-C) or equivalent to include English and Science
* Previous hospital patient facing work
* SYNLAB UK & Ireland work closely with clinicians, hospitals, occupational health providers and clinical researchers to provide a complete pathology offering.
