Charity Administrator/PA to CEO
The Catherine McEwan Foundation are looking for a highly motivated Administrator to join their team and be a pivotal part of this growing organisation. The Administrator will be responsible for the effective running of the charity office in order to maximise efficiency and productivity and will be a key part of their daily operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enabling the foundation to grow and achieve its aims of improving the lives of those suffering from Crohn's and Colitis.
Providing effective and efficient administrative support to the CMF team, ensuring successful running of the charity office and its daily business
* Supporting the charity team in the management and administration of its fundraising, finance and marketing functions
* Helping to co-ordinate fundraising activity and events in conjunction with the relevant departmental leads
* The smooth running of the charity administrative function, dealing with enquiries by telephone, email and post, and maintaining filing systems (both electronic and paper)
* Screening telephone calls before passing them to the necessary person, taking and relaying accurate and timely messages and answering any queries where possible
* Making any necessary travel arrangements for the team
* Undertaking all methods of administration work as required by the charity team
* Leading on the update of contact databases and associated records
An ambitious and driven individual who will take this exciting opportunity to new limits to aid the growth of the Catherine McEwan Foundation.
* Often being the first point of contact, the Charity Administrator will need to possess excellent communication skills. The image of the organisation and its services relies heavily on the ability of the Charity Administrator to communicate effectively and sympathetically with a wide variety of people including staff and supporters.
Time management skills: The Charity Administrator will need to possess excellent time management and organisational skills to be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and a range of priorities.
The Charity Administrator will need strong IT skills and be competent in the use of most Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel. The Charity Administrator will need to be practical, proactive, unflappable and be able to use their initiative.
Salary: £21K-£26K (depending on skills and experience)
* Glasgow based with hybrid working arrangement
