Next is looking for a Loss Prevention Crime Centre Operator to join our dedicated team, providing essential Loss Prevention and Security support to our Retail sites.
Reporting to the Crime Centre Manager, you'll be a key part of our Loss Prevention Crime Centre, responsible for proactive and retrospective CCTV reviews across allocated retail sites. Your work will involve identifying criminal activity, preventing losses, gathering evidence, reviewing and linking Retail Loss Prevention incident reports, monitoring company policies and providing accurate information for escalation to both internal and external partners.
Comprehensive experience working with CCTV, Microsoft, and Google suites is essential.
As a Crime Centre Operator, you'll ensure all information is handled with the utmost confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy, adhering strictly to Company and GDPR policies. Working as part of a motivated and dedicated team, you'll be assisting the Retail Loss Prevention field and in-store teams by responding to calls for service and support within your area of responsibility.
Due to the 24-hour nature of our business, this role involves shift work, which may include nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Proactively use CCTV to monitor areas of known stock loss,
Liaise with on-site officers & store teams to detect & deter anything that may cause a risk to the business
Monitor risk intelligence software and news/media for global incidents impacting the team and brand.
Create and disseminate intelligence & evidence packages to relevant internal parties and/or external agencies.
Identify and escalate fraudulent activity using data sources.
Ensure the Crime Centre operates with safety as a priority.
Respond to telephone and email queries and various administration duties.
Assist with training new team members within the Crime Centre.
Meet agreed performance standards set by the Crime Centre Manager.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of CCTV systems.
A good understanding of stock loss, empty packaging, and completing accurate and detailed reports.
The ability to react quickly and effectively to incidents.
Able to work alone or as part of a team, or with minimal supervision.
