Principal People are exclusively supporting a unique and diverse company in recruiting a Health and Safety Manager to lead the Health and Safety team and deliver a cultural change programme. The Health and Safety Manager will have full responsibility for the current Health and Safety Team and will work closely with operational staff to develop a positive attitude towards Health and Safety. The position will involve covering 4 main locations in Grimsby, Hull, Immington and Goole with autonomous travel across the locations, giving you the opportunity to work with many different supportive team members. Due to the complexity of the environment, the role will be incredibly varied, which will help you develop your career. You will be exposed to various, dangerous risks. Health and Safety Manager – Manufacturing / Transport – Grimsby (Travel Required) – Up to £70,000 + Package We would love to see CVs from people who have: NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma Level Prefered) Experience within an operational Health and Safety Environment (Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution preferred) 5 – 7 Years experience in a Health and Safety role previously UK Drivers Licence As the Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for: Investigating accidents and investigations and working on a solution to reduce the risk of these reoccurring. Working with the site operational team to implement a proactive strategy for Health and Safety Being proactive and reactive regarding Health and Safety requirements throughout the locations Working closely with the senior leadership team within the business who are open to development and change Creating policies and procedures for the site in order to make continuous improvements. Developing the current Health and Safety Team both personally and professionally Maintaining and developing the Health and Safety systems and processes ensuring the business remains compliant.
