Our Transport planners shape the future of cities and communities by contributing to sustainable travel systems. Data Analysis: Collect and analyse transportation data.
Project Management: Assist in planning and monitoring projects from concept to delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders with regards to projects and their areas of interest.
Integrate green technologies and sustainable planning as part of our solutions to projects.
Policy Development: Contribute to transportation policies and approaches from national guidance to local implementation strategies
Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impacts of projects to all
Our Liveable Places team plan, design and deliver projects from an idea to construction, helping a wide variety of clients across the UK re-envision and re-shape and helping people and places thrive. As a graduate in this team, you can expect to work on projects such as the development of the Regional Transport Strategy for the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority or the design and delivery of Gloucestershire's ambitious cycle and walking network.
Our Liveable places parking projects team deliver small to medium sized parking projects. Working in this team you will be provided with an opportunity to utilise and gain further engineering skills whilst also offering the opportunity to gain skills in data analysis, CAD, public and stakeholder engagement, GIS applications and Parking legislation. From initial site visits to identify suitable locations and recording current restrictions on street to drawing up proposals for the purpose of consultation and implementation of the schemes, no day would ever be the same.

Gaining knowledge of Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) and Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 3
Our Transport Modelling team undertake a range of transport modelling work ranging from Strategic Modelling, Micro-simulation, Public Transport Modelling and Pedestrian Modelling. All types of transport models can be used to assess transport interventions to see how they affect either the mode that people use and the route that people take to make a particular journey along with changes in trip destination.

Graduate Development Programme
In this team, you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with colleagues and adapting to dynamic project environments.
Our two-year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through an engaging blended learning experience. The programmes include core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and resources, valuable networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on-the-job experience.

Candidates who pass this initial stage, will then be required to complete an online skill enabler assessment. Both the application form and the skill enabler assessment are essential parts of the early career’s recruitment process.
You’ll have a passion for planning and consulting 
You’ll be comfortable handling and interpreting data, and understand transport models and relevant software like GIS
