We are looking for Electrical Engineering graduates who have an adaptable approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. In these teams, you will manage internal and external stakeholders, collaborate with colleagues and adapt to progressive project environments. Services and Locations EICA Water: Newcastle – Graduate will work on water, wastewater, pumping station and industrial projects. Energy Networks: Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, London – Graduate will support design, project and stakeholder activities across Transmission & Distribution. Energy Transition – Onshore Renewables: Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, London, Birmingham – Graduate will engage in design, delivery, client engagement and business development. Energy (Asset Management & Analysis – Power Systems): Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester – Graduate will support power system studies, grid connection, technical reports, proposals and specialist software. Energy Transition – Low Carbon Engineering: Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham – Graduate will support professional development within a two‑year Graduate Development Programme that covers core business and professional skills training, workshops, networking, mentoring and chartership support. Day‑to‑Day Activities – Examples EICA Water Working alongside and learning from experienced mentors. Producing single line diagrams, load schedules, I/O schedules, instrument schedules and MCC data sheets. Calculations and selection of pumps, isometric drawings, mechanical GA’s equipment sizing and selection. Attending site visits and surveys. Learning 3D CAD, cable sizing and discrimination software tools. Learning hydraulic calculations and software use. Energy Networks Engineering design support. Feasibility studies including site surveys and data analysis. Technical reporting. Site visits and inspections. Project management assistance. Stakeholder engagement. Continuous learning. Energy Transition – Onshore Renewables Design, delivery, client engagement and stakeholder management. Business development support through proposals and commercial considerations. Initiatives driven by service lines influencing growth. Energy – Asset Management & Analysis Power system studies (load flow, fault level, stability, harmonics). Grid connection support for renewable and storage developers. Technical reports and client presentations. Project proposals and bid documents. Using specialist software (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD). Multi‑disciplinary project teams across the UK and internationally. Stakeholder engagement and client meetings. Keeping up to date with evolving energy technologies and regulations. Graduate Development Programme Two‑year programme providing core business and professional skills training, workshops, networking, professional registration mentoring and chartership support. We encourage a pathway to chartered status with professional bodies and full support through training agreements. Qualifications BEng or MEng Electrical Engineering, 2:2 or above. Must complete the application form and online skill enabler assessment. Expected start in April or September 2026. Passion for electrical engineering, creativity, problem solving and idea generation.
