Location & Services We are recruiting for Graduates in the following services and locations: Electrical (EICA): London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Brighton Civils: London, Brighton, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow Asset Management: Belfast, London, Birmingham, Liverpool Team Overview Our Asset Design team provides comprehensive design and construction support across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering. We work from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and commissioning, challenging assumptions and refining options to champion no‑build and low‑build solutions. Projects Graduates will be involved in major projects across the UK water sector, supporting clients such as: Thames Water / Costain Northumbrian Water Britannia Metals Severn Trent Water Southwest Water Galliford Try Yorkshire Water / Tillbury Douglas Irish Water Southern Water Keir Nutrient Removal schemes Clean Water projects Strategic programmes reducing reliance on groundwater abstraction EICA (Electrical) Team As a graduate in EICA you will gain design engineering skills in electrical engineering, instrumentation, control and automation within the water industry. You will work in multi‑disciplinary design teams, gaining exposure to civil and chemical engineering. Day‑to‑day Activities (EICA) Work alongside and learn from experienced discipline mentors. Produce single‑line diagrams, load schedules, I/O schedules, instrument schedules and MCC data sheets. Attend site visits/surveys. Learn 3D CAD design skills. Learn cable sizing and discrimination software tools. Learn hydraulic calculation tools. Civils Team The water industry offers exciting opportunities with investment in ageing assets and pollution prevention solutions. As an engineering graduate you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop both traditional and green solutions for water and wastewater projects. Day‑to‑day Activities (Civils) Work within a multi‑disciplinary design team to solve water and wastewater challenges. Use digital software to support problem solving and reporting. Produce 3D models alongside BIM modellers. Attend client and internal meetings and workshops. Develop towards Chartered status with guidance from a Delegated Engineer. Graduate Development Programme The two‑year programme supports personal and professional growth through blended learning: core business and professional skills training, workshops, networking, mentoring for professional registration, and on‑the‑job experience. Graduates are supported to achieve chartered status with institutions such as IChemE, CIWEM, IMechE, and IET. Requirements You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant degree and: Completed the application form in full and answered all specific questions. Be available to start work in April or September 2026. Have a passion for engineering and consulting in water. Show enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving.
