Technical Manager for Food Manufacturer based in Pembrokeshire. Strong leader who can drive performance in others and bring people “on a journey.”

Reporting to the Site Director, responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Implementing the company’s technical and quality strategy to ensure the site is always audit ready
  • Leading technical team to deliver the site business plan
  • Developing and implementing the site food safety plan
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety/ quality, health & safety and environment
  • Managing and overseeing technical related budgets and financial planning
  • Conducting incident investigations, including risk assessments
  • Supporting independent audits across the company

Essential / Desirable skills include:

  • Experienced Technical Manager ideally with science-based Degree/ Diploma
  • Chilled food manufacturing experience is essential
  • In-depth understanding of micro and associated hygiene practices (food handling, cleaning & disinfection etc)
  • Experience working with multiple retailers
  • Level 3 Food hygiene and Level 4 HACCP
  • Ideally Driving licence
