Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection Limited. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the management of our engineering function, ensuring that our team works safely, effectively, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the team is working safely and efficiently.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance routines in accordance with equipment manufacturer specifications, and review these routines on a regular basis to ensure they are effective.
  • Time Management: Manage time sheets and hours worked, holidays, training, absence, and disciplinary reporting for the engineering team.
  • Breakdown Repairs: Oversee the repair of breakdowns, ensuring that work is carried out safely and in a timely manner.
  • Fault Finding: Identify and drive fault-finding activities to resolve and prevent issues.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HNC in mechanical or electrical discipline, or a recognized engineering apprenticeship.
  • Experience: Experience of working in an FMCG environment, with strong experience as a multiskilled engineer and previous leadership experience.
  • Skills: Computer literate with strong report writing skills, including CMMS, SCADA, HMI's, and Microsoft Office.
