Interparcel Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Commercial. Reporting directly to the Executive Management Team, the Head of Commercial will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial strategy, focusing on supplier negotiations, pricing strategies, and understanding competitor activity/initiatives.
Lead and manage the commercial team to help formulate and ensure effective execution of the company's commercial strategy.
* Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to align commercial strategies with overall business goals.
* Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to commercial activities, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
* Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to proactively adjust strategies and tactics as needed.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Proven track record of success in a commercial leadership role, with a focus on supplier negotiations, pricing, and competitive analysis.
* Experience of working in e-commerce environment
* Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with commercial analytics tools/software.
