We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Director to join a rapidly growing logistics business in Warwickshire.

The successful candidate will be confident building relationships with existing clients aswell as accelerating sales growth with new business opportunities.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive sales growth initiatives expanding the companies market presence.

The Sales Director will:

  • Be responsible for creating and managing a sales team whilst assuming responsibility for the day to day sales operations
  • Implement strategies to gain more business across core areas
  • Create and manage sales opportunities through prospecting, attending client meetings and conducting regular follow ups
  • Provide leadership to the newly created sales team and manage their performance
  • Report on sales metrics, suggest and implement process improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working within Logistics in a Senior Sales Leadership role
  • Have a proven track record of sales, new business development success and high productivity meeting targets and deadlines
  • Be a self–starter who excels in a fast–paced sales environment
  • Be able to build rapport easily with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have knowledge of the logistics industry and market trends
  • Be a strategic thinker with a results driven mindset

This is a full time position, with the opportunity to work hybrid.
