Key Responsibilities

As a Groups, Conferences & Events (GCE) Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in maximising revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.You will work closely with internal teams, 3rd party suppliers, and participate in promotional activities to enhance our group and event offerings.

You will also - but not be limited to:

  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries into bookings, consistently striving to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue
  • Maintain an events diary to maximize yield and optimize space allocation for upcoming events
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to fully understand their needs and preferences
  • Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds to showcase our facilities and services to potential clients
  • Attend internal Food & Beverage Meetings and Banquet Event Order (BEO) Meetings to coordinate event logistics with other departments
  • Create groups and events in the booking systems, update payment instructions, and input all relevant event-related information accurately
  • Efficiently and professionally address all client requests, inquiries, and concerns, providing timely and accurate information
  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries into bookings, consistently striving to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue

The Person:

An ideal candidate for the role of Groups, Conferences and Events Executive, is a person with a clear passion to go above and beyond our guests' expectations. You are able to use your intuition and creativity to deliver a wonderful experience for everyone. The ability to multitask and prioritise is important, as well as the ability to work well under pressure with a broad smile. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, produce quality work and be flexible to work as per business needs.
