echo.bravo, a premier business travel solutions provider, is on the lookout for a seasoned Business Development Manager to enhance our sales team. The primary focus of this role is to spearhead sales and revenue growth, expand and optimize our trade database, and elevate brand visibility within the UK markets.

The ideal candidate will be energetic and proactive, with a solid confidence in navigating the dynamic landscape of business travel. This role demands someone who can thrive in a fast-paced setting and exhibits strong initiative and exceptional problem-solving capabilities. Join us in transforming business travel by delivering innovative, client-centric solutions that resonate across the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and analyse trading accounts at echo.bravo, identifying down-trading clients, opportunities for engaging additional departments, and strategies to increase the Total Transaction Value (TTV) for sales.

• Formulate and implement a robust sales strategy to attract new business travel accounts to echo.bravo.

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Account Manager to maintain a comprehensive understanding of all trading accounts.

• Lead and present at monthly and quarterly sales meetings to the echo.bravo team.

• Create and manage targeted business development strategies for key accounts to ensure measurable results.

• Act as a representative of echo.bravo at industry trade shows, dinners, and sales calls to promote the brand and forge new business relationships.

• Work in partnership with the sales team and other cross-functional teams to execute strategic business plans effectively.

• Conduct market analysis to track trends and competitor activities, identifying opportunities for growth and ways to differentiate echo.bravo in the market.

• Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring prompt follow-up actions with existing and new partners.

• Facilitate training and development sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.

• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies to senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or business development, specifically within the business travel sector.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for lateral thinking.

• Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas eloquently.

• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

• Willingness to travel internationally to trade shows and other events as needed.

• A proactive, 'hustle' mentality and willingness to be a team player, helping to establish echo.bravo as a leading business travel solution.
