At Fairford Associates, we are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as Head of Business Development. This is a new role for the business, and we are looking for a candidate who has extensive sales experience in the commercial cleaning sector, particularly in the housing association sector or the tender process for public sector bids.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the business development function, managing the existing team, and growing the team as required. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a top 3 to 500 list of targets, overseeing the commission structure, and headlining the bid team process to ensure early responses.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the ability to set up and manage a sales function for an organisation. The role holder will be working regularly from our head office, and although we can be flexible with the candidate's location, they must be happy to commute or have accommodation where working at the head office three days a week is tenable.

The salary for this role starts at £65k-£80k base, plus commission, with the usual car/phone/laptop provision.

Key Responsibilities:
